At Goyart, since our beginnings, we have believed that every painting and every decorative piece not only beautifies spaces, but also generates emotions and memories. However, the recent disaster in Valencia has reminded us how fragile spaces and material things can be . The floods have profoundly affected thousands of homes, businesses, and buildings, leaving behind irreplaceable personal and material losses . Faced with this reality, we know that not even the most beautiful painting can replace what was lost, but we also know that beauty can bring comfort , hope, and warmth .

We're a small company, and although we're physically distant, we feel the need to contribute to the emotional and physical reconstruction of the homes and spaces devastated by the disaster. We want to be part of this transformation, supporting those who have lost so much and offering them something we know how to do well: paintings that refresh the environment and bring joy.

That's why, for one month, from November 13th to December 13th, 2024, Goyart will be donating a painting for every order placed in our online store . We will deliver these pieces to families, nursing homes, and other affected institutions, in the hope that they can recover some of the warmth and personality of their spaces . Deliveries will begin in January 2025, and our team will ensure that each painting reaches its new home.

Why Valencia?

Valencia is a city with a vibrant history and a strong connection to art and culture . We were fortunate to visit the Hábitat furniture fair in this city, where we experienced its unique energy and beauty. Seeing how it has been struck by tragedy has deeply affected us. Although we are far away, we feel we stand with every family and business now facing the task of rebuilding. We sympathize with their grief, but we also admire their strength and resilience.

A Joint Effort to Transform Spaces

The goal of this initiative is not only to donate paintings, but also to offer a small respite and a touch of beauty to the places that need it most . We know that material objects may not be the solution to everything, but we also understand that a welcoming and well-decorated environment can aid in the process of emotional healing.

For this project, we have selected paintings that convey peace, serenity, and warmth. They will be abstract pieces, landscapes, and representations of nature that, we hope, convey a message of hope and resilience .
